The micro-blogging site Twitter suddenly started creating problems for most users worldwide as many reported logout errors and other failures.
Several users around the globe are taking to the social media platform to report multiple issues ranging from search terms and tweets failing to load, retrieving tweets and many more. According to the reports, this is especially happening at the time of refreshing the Twitter homepage.
Currently, as per the real-time problem & outage monitoring website Downdetector, over 900 users are reporting issues regarding Twitter’s desktop app, and its app on Android and iOS. Although, there’s no issue reported with the microblogging site’s third-party app Tweetdeck which seems to be working just fine.
Earlier on Friday, Twitter services were down for a large number of users as well. About 40,000 users reported issues with the social media platform on Friday, according to outage monitoring website Downdetector.com.
The microblogging website officials had said late on Friday that it was working on fixing an access issue after thousands of users reported problems with the platform.
“Tweets may not be loading for some of you. We’re working on fixing a problem and you’ll be back on the timeline soon,` reads the company’s tweet.
Downdetector is a website that tracks outages by collecting status reports from a series of sources, including user-submitted errors on its platform. The outage has created inconvenience for a large number of users.
