Travel Norms Eased in The US, Fully Vaccinated Indians Are Allowed

From November 8, The US government can now allow traveling all foreigners who have been fully vaccinated. The Joe Biden government has decided to allow foreign travelers in its new travel policy. Those foreign nationals who have taken their both dose of vaccines will be operational from November 8 onwards.

This new policy provides consistent guidelines related to vaccinations status. Especially it will give relief to the COVID-19 related restrictions for travel to the countries like India, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Brazil, and many more other countries.

This new policy may end the unprecedented restrictions to US travel since last year. A White House official said that the policy is guided by public health, stringent and consistent. The blueprint of the policy was already setup in September but country would lift restrictions from 33 countries on air travel in early November.

US also lift restrictions from Schengen countries. Such as Europe, France, Germany, Italy as well Britain and many more. Citizen from these countries would allow air travelling if they admit fully vaccinated.

According to the office, not every technical and logistical detail of the new policy has yet been announced. The announcement has been first applied for travel for non-essential purposes via land borders with Mexico and Canada

The US officials from the White House said, “this norms places due to global international travel policy guided by public health, stringent, and consistent”. Further, he said that providing vaccination proof that shows a negative COVID-19 test will allow traveling from November 8.

“All the vaccine approved from Food and Drugs Administration and World Health Organisation would be would be accepted for entry by air,” US health authority said. The approved vaccination including. Johnson & Johnson, Astrazeneca, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, and Sinovac vaccines.

He also said that unvaccinated foreigners will be banned from the entrance by air or any means whereas unvaccinated Americans will need to provide a negative COVID-19 test.

This announcement has a massive comfort for a giant number of Indians who stuck in the US and unable to travel to India for the past more than a year. Therefore this announcement relief for Indians who travels to think back to their country.

The other details related to the guidance are still yet to come. Till then vaccination proof and will be acceptable US officials said.
