‘Safety Centre’ on Tinder to ensure Safe Online Relationships


Tinder has launched an in-app Safety Centre for its Indian customers which was featured along with the picture verification feature last year. The plan is to expand into different markets in 2021. Tinder stated that the Safety content would regularly update as an evolving part of the app. Topics will include the most recent guidance for online relationship safety.

Tinder explained that the goal of the new feature is for safety-related resources. It will provide avenues of support that connect members with relevant experts. The new feature will be accessible to members via the app’s main menu and whenever they chat with potential matches.
