“They are terrorists”: Kangana Ranaut on Protesting Farmers
The farmers’ protest was a nationwide concern. However, it was about the time when global intervention was inevitable. International pop star Rihanna addressed the matter while sharing an article related to the farmers’ protest in India with a caption that read: “Why aren’t we talking about this?!” Well, how can the controversy queen stay out of this?
Reacting to the tweet, Kangana called Rihanna out with words like ‘fool’ and ‘dummy’ while labeling the farmers as ‘terrorists’. “No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like the USA… Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies,” Kangana wrote on Twitter in reply. It was like she was taking on the persona of Manikarnika quite seriously.

Thereafter, an advocate named Harshvardhan Patil from Karnataka’s Belagavi filed a complaint against Kangana for her tweet. Not only that, but netizens also criticized the Tanu Weds Manu actress for her inconsiderate comments on farmers. She was heavily trolled and memes were flooding the social media platforms.
War of Words Against Diljit Dosanjh
The farmers’ protest gave birth to another Kangana Ranaut Twitter controversy when she had online spars with the Punjabi rapper, Diljit Dosanjh. In November 2020, Kangana tweeted that Shaheen Bagh Dadi was also present at the farmer’s protests and was available for hire at Rs 100.
Following the post, Diljit slammed Kangana for the misidentification. He posted a video of the same elderly lady who was revealed to be a Mahinder Kaur. A completely different person! Diljit’s tweet read: “Respected Mahinder Kaur Ji. Ah Sunn La Ni With Proof @KanganaTeam. Banda Ena V Ni Anna Hona Chaida..Kush v Boli Turi jandi aa .. (Listen to this Kangana, with proof. A person should not be this blind. She (Kangana) keeps on saying anything) (sic).”
After that, Kangana deleted the post, however, not without an elbow to the belly. “Ooo Karan Johar ke paltu, jo dadi Saheen Baag mein apni citizenship keliye protest kar rahi thi wohi Bilkis Bano dadi ji Farmers ke MSP ke liye bhi protest karti hue dikhi. Mahinder Kaur ji ko toh main janti bhi nahin. Kya drama chalaya hai tum logon ne? Stop this right now.” Thus, the war of words began.
Both the stars dissed each other. There were a lot of name-callings, insults, and much more. In fact, Kangana dragged Priyanka Chopra into the war as well. “People like @diljitdosanjh and @priyankachopra will be hailed by the left media for misleading and encouraging farmers protests, pro-Islamists and anti-India film industry and brands will flood them with offers and English/living in colonial hangover media houses will (sic),” Kangana wrote.
In the end, Diljit received support from the Punjabi film industry with celebrities like Jassie Gill, Mika Singh, Himanshi Khurana, Gippy Grewal supporting the rapper/singer instead of Kangana.
Kangana Ranaut Twitter Handle vs. Twitter & ‘Tandav’:
The Tandav series starring Saif Ali Khan was already a part of a controversy. However, things started heating up when Kangana criticized the web series calling it ‘creatively poor and deprived, atrocious and objectionable’. According to her, the content of the show was Hinduphobic. However, she crossed the line with this tweet: “Because even Lord Krishna forgave 99 mistakes of Sheshupala… Pehle Shanti Phir Kranti (Silence must be followed by revolution)…. time to take their heads off… Jai Shri Krishan…”
Following this, her Twitter handle received a temporary restriction. A Twitter spokesperson said that Twitter had a policy against any user that violates its policy on abusive behavior and engaged in targeted harassment. “We prohibit content that wishes, hopes, or expresses a desire for death, serious bodily harm against an individual or group of people and take enforcement action when we identify violations which could include placing an account in read-only mode,” Twitter said. However, that didn’t stop Kangana from going berserk once again.
“Anti nationals are trending #SuspendKanganaRanaut …. please do, when they suspended Rangs I came and made their lives even more miserable, now if they suspend me will exit the virtual world and in real-world will show you real Kangana Ranaut- the mother of all fathers #babbarsherni,” Kangana tweeted. It seems like there’s no way to silence the “Queen”.
Kangana on Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death
Kangana has made some strong statements on the passing of Sushant Singh Rajput which was already a sentimental issue. She claimed that SSR’s death was not suicide and blamed the ‘movie mafia’ for it. She tweeted and supported the wild theory that SSR was bullied and harassed throughout his entire career. Kangana Ranaut Twitter post read: “Young and extraordinary individuals don’t just wake up one fine day and kill themselves. Sushant said he was being bullied and outcasted, he feared for his life, he said movie mafia banned him and harassed him, he was mentally affected by being falsely accused of rape #AIIMS.”
Twitter Responds with A Suspension
Kangana Ranaut Twitter account was been permanently suspended for repeated violation of Twitter rules in May 2021. This came after the actor’s sharp comments on the post-poll violence in Bengal, which sounded like violence itself. Apparently, she urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to “tame” Mamata Banerjee using his “Virat Roop” from the “early 2000s”. Ranaut’s tweet, now not viewable, read: “This is horrible… we need super Gunda to kill gundai… she is like an unleashed monster, to tame her Modi ji please show your Virat roop from the early 2000s…. #PresidentRuleInBengal.”
These tweets from Kangana sparked massive outrage, with many demanding strict actions against her. But just what you expect from the Queen of Controversy, she claimed that Twitter’s move was racially biased. “Twitter has only proved my point they’re Americans and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person, they want to tell you what to think, speak or do. I have many platforms I can use to raise my voice, including my own art in the form of cinema,” Kangana said in a statement to ANI.
Wherever Kangana goes, controversy follows and we believe, things will definitely stay like this. Although, she is a ground-breaking actress who can own any character on the screen. Hopefully, these controversies won’t hamper her Bollywood career in any way! But even if it does, she will work things out. Definitely!
Kangana is one of the most popular personalities in the media industry. However, the Kangana Ranaut Twitter Controversies have most probably come to an end as her account faces suspension. Who knows, maybe she’ll make Facebook her new home for controversies! Only time will tell.
