According to the latest video by EverythingApplePro YouTube channel, the upcoming iPhone 13 series will have an always-on display along with several other features. The new rumour details were revealed via tipster Max Weinbach who stated that the latest flagship lineup of Apple phones will have the always-on display feature similar to Apple Watch Series 5.
The rumours further imply that the feature would have minimal customizability at release. Weinbach was quoted saying, “Always-on display will have minimal customizability. Current design basically looks like a toned-down lock screen. Clock and battery charge is always visible.”
Further explaining the feature functions, the tipster claimed that “Upon receiving, the notification will pop up normally except that the screen will not entirely light up. Instead, it will display it just like you’re used to right now except dimmed down and only temporarily.”
The other rumours suggest that the new iPhones will come with a refined matte back that will provide a better grip over the phone. However, Weinbach implied that this change will only be limited to the Pro models. The new models are also expected to have the long-awaited low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) OLED panels with high refresh rates of up to 120Hz.
There are also rumours about the iPhone 13 series having he MagSafe charging tech and astrophotography mode. The Astro mode is expected to be a completely automatic mode that will register certain artefacts, such as stars and the Moon by using software algorithms and improved camera optics. However, none of the rumours is confirmed by Apple.
