Easter is a Christian holiday that is observed on the belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In 2021, Easter is being commemorated on April 4 and is a part of the Holy Week that also includes Maundy Thursday when Jesus took the Last Supper. Starting from TV to Bollywood celebs, many have taken to social media to wish their fans on this special day.
With the second wave of COVID-19 prevailing throughout the country, people are once again finding themselves restricted indoors. Festivities are kept low-key during this year, too and celebs are attempting to make most of the celebrations.

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor shared a sweet message on Easter that read, “With Easter comes new Life and Hope, Never could this have been needed more than we do today. So let;s celebrate and rejoice for times to be blessed with His Love that endures forever, and may the blessings of Dear God bring us all the strength, hope and happiness to take us into brighter times. The Sri Lankan actress, former model, and the winner of the Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant of 2006 who predominantly works in Hindi films, Jacqueline Fernandez also shared an image and a short clip on her Insta Stories that had Easter Sunday and ‘Peace and Love to all’ written on it.
Indian actor, writer and film producer who often appears in Tamil and Hindi language films, R Madhavan, who had recently tested positive for COVID-19, shared a poem on how success is different for everyone and captioned it, “This is so very true with respect to my life … HAPPY EASTER ALL.”
