Big turn of events for the Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt as the 28-year-old steps foot in Hollywood. Yes! Alia Bhatt is about to realize her Hollywood dreams by signing a deal with an international talent management agency called William Morris Agency (WME). According to the report by Deadline, the Bollywood actor has signed the agency as she ‘eyes opportunities in the US’.
As for those who don’t know about the management agency, William Morris Agency was formed back in 1898. It is the longest-running talent agency that manages media, events, fashion, and sports. In 2019, William Morris was named the Agency of the Year at the Billboard Live Music Awards.
Alia is currently shooting her upcoming movie titled Darlings. The film will also feature Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew. This Eternal Sunshine Productions film will feature a story of a mother-daughter duo. The movie is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
While addressing her new endeavor in Hollywood, Alia Bhatt posted on Instagram stating, “Day one of DARLINGS! my first film as a producer but I will always be an actor first & forever (in this case a very nervous actor). I don’t know what it is. The night before I start a new film I get this nervous tingling energy all over my body. I dream all night about messing up my lines, become jumpy and reach the sets 15 mins before time, fearing I’ll be late!”
The actor also expressed her nervousness saying, “I guess this feeling will never go away.. and it shouldn’t – because being nervous.. and feeling unsure means you really really care.”
